Drama in the Powder Room

In a small powder room, we paired a “moth-eaten” wallpaper pattern with a wall sconce inspired by Jean Cocteau’s classic film, La Belle et la Béte.

In the scene, a castle hallway is lit by rows of outstretched hands clutching candelabras. The effect is surreal, much like the wallpaper designs by Timorous Beasties and this whimsical wall sconce by my old pal Amy Kehoe of Nickey Kehoe, for Urban Electric.
